Volleyball Recap: Columbus Catholic Takes a Loss

Columbus Catholic was the 2-1 winner over Marshalltown when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sailors fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Sailors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Columbus Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Marshalltown, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-10 record this season.

Columbus Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Prairie on the 27th. Marshalltown has also already played their next matchup (against Roland-Story), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
