Volleyball Recap: Vega Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Vega had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Palo Duro Dons on Monday. The Longhorns haven't had much luck with the Dons recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-20, 17-25, 25-14, 25-17.

Palo Duro has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vega will venture away from home to take on San Jacinto Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palo Duro, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Hereford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
