Volleyball Recap: McCall-Donnelly Takes a Loss

McCall-Donnelly came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Cole Valley Christian Chargers. The Vandals haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

While McCall-Donnelly was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Cole Valley Christian's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-12, 25-15.

McCall-Donnelly's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Cole Valley Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

McCall-Donnelly does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cole Valley Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fruitland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
