Basketball Game Preview: Denmark-Olar Vikings vs. River Bluff Gators

The Denmark-Olar Vikings will head out on the road to square off against the River Bluff Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Denmark-Olar has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Denmark-Olar is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 79-21 win over North. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Kalen Mayes, who posted 37 points and five steals. Mayes is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Aveion Walker, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for River Bluff, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They slipped by Airport 45-44 on Saturday.

River Bluff has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Denmark-Olar, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Everything came up roses for Denmark-Olar against River Bluff in their previous matchup on Thursday, as the squad secured a 57-24 win.
