Basketball Recap: New Ulm Cathedral Comes Up Short

New Ulm Cathedral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt an 85-34 defeat at the hands of the St. Mary's Knights. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 355th, while the Knights are ranked 36th).

New Ulm Cathedral's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for St. Mary's, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

New Ulm Cathedral didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-39 defeat against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton on the 23rd. St. Mary's has also already played their next game, a 67-28 win against Springfield on the 23rd.
