Basketball Game Preview: Genoa-Kingston Cogs vs. Woodstock Blue Streaks

The Genoa-Kingston Cogs will head out to face off against the Woodstock Blue Streaks at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Genoa-Kingston strolled past Harvard with points to spare, taking the game 62-48.

Meanwhile, Woodstock earned a 47-36 win over Johnsburg on Friday. The Blue Streaks have beaten the Skyhawks the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Skyhawks has come to flipping the script.

Genoa-Kingston's record now sits at 14-15. As for Woodstock, their record is now 18-11.

Genoa-Kingston lost to Woodstock on the road by a decisive 58-41 margin when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Genoa-Kingston avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
