Basketball Recap: Karns Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Karns hadn't done well against Powell recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Karns Beavers walked away with a 59-46 win over the Powell Panthers. This was a revenge game for the Beavers: when they faced off against the Panthers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 60-50 defeat.

Karns has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Powell, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.

Karns has already played their next matchup, a 72-48 defeat against Oak Ridge on the 24th. As for Powell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 52-35 loss against Campbell County on the 24th.
