Basketball Recap: Boaz Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Boaz, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They took down the Alexandria Valley Cubs 37-23 on Monday. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 47-27 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win got Boaz back to even at 8-8. As for Alexandria, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Boaz and Huntsville will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on December 30th. As for Alexandria, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Glencoe at 6:00 p.m. on December 30th.
