Basketball Recap: Pine Hill Takes a Loss

Pine Hill's tournament run continued when they took on East Mountain on Friday. The Pine Hill Warriors were dealt a 71-39 loss at the hands of the East Mountain Timberwolves. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Pine Hill still got an impressive performance from Channing James, who posted 24 points. Clifferrol Jake was another key player, putting up eight points.

Pine Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for East Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Pine Hill will venture away from home to challenge Quemado at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Mountain, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Capitan at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
