Searsport came into Wednesday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Jonesport-Beals Royals on Wednesday. The Vikings not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since June 4, 2024 (when they won 9-2).

Searsport picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Jonesport-Beals, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, Searsport will take on Sumner at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Jonesport-Beals, they will challenge Woodland at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Royals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dragons have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season.
