Softball Recap: Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Takes a Loss

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-3 to the St. Mary's Knights. The Thunderbirds were not able to make up for their loss to the Knights from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Mary's, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop has already played their next game, a 22-0 loss against New Ulm Cathedral on the 15th. St. Mary's has also already played their next match (against Wabasso), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
