Volleyball Game Preview: Gilmer Buckeyes vs. Spring Hill Panthers

Gilmer is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Spring Hill is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Buckeyes will host the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Tuesday, Gilmer made easy work of Cumberland Academy and carried off a 3-0 win.

While Gilmer won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Spring Hill got the win against Kilgore on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-15, 25-17.

Gilmer's victory bumped their record up to 18-16. As for Spring Hill, their win bumped their record up to 33-6.
