Daniel had won seven straight games and Lila Mann did her part to make it eight on Tuesday. The Daniel Lions took down the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers 54-36 thanks in part to Mann, who went 6 for 9 to rack up 16 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Talia Maxwell and Opal Maralit certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Maxwell dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards, while Maralit posted eight points and four steals. Maralit is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Daniel's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points over those games. As for Blue Ridge, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lions duke it out with the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blue Ridge, they will square off against Greer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
