Volleyball Recap: Hollis-Brookline Comes Up Short

Hollis-Brookline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alvirne Broncos. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Broncos apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Hollis-Brookline's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Alvirne, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hollis-Brookline is set to face off against their familiar foe Merrimack at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Alvirne will square off against rival Bedford at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
