Baseball Recap: Farwell Comes Up Short

Reed City hit Farwell with a six-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles lost 14-1 to the Coyotes.

Farwell saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Esterline, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Farwell has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for Reed City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-16.

As of now, neither Farwell nor the Coyotes have any future games scheduled.
