Big game from Jackson as Discovery fell 34-27
Kaylon Jackson wasn't messing around on Tuesday, scoring 18 points. The contest was her fifth straight with 17 or more points. While that hot streak is impressive, perhaps more impressive is what she's done for her team: she's scored a third or more of Discovery's points for five straight games. This year, Jackson has averaged 14 points, 2.8 steals, and 4 rebounds per game.
Jackson and Discovery will head out on the road to face off against the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Jackson's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Discovery's six-game streak of wins at home. With the streak snapped, Jackson and the Titans surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Friday's match.
