Basketball Recap: Winfield-Mt. Union Skates Past Wapello with Ease

Winfield-Mt. Union won the last time they faced Wapello and things went their way on Friday too. The Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves breezed by the Wapello Indians to the tune of 62-29.

Winfield-Mt. Union has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Wapello, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
