Basketball Recap: St. Francis Takes a Loss

St. Francis lost against Greeley County back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The St. Francis Indians came up short against the Greeley County Jackrabbits, falling 64-43. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 2-18-1. As for Greeley County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

St. Francis and Greeley County are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. St. Francis will venture away from home to square off against Decatur Community at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Francis is facing Decatur Community at the right time seeing as Decatur Community is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Greeley County, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Northern Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Greeley County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
