It was a good run, but Timpanogos unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. The match between them and the Cottonwood Colts didn't end well, with the Timpanogos Timberwolves falling 49-32. The contest marked the Timberwolves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cottonwood had a senior duo take command as Taylor Workman posted 16 points and Avea Van Der Beek put up 12 points. Ashlyn Tripp was another key player, putting up seven points.

Timpanogos' defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Cottonwood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Timpanogos will venture away from home to square off against Provo at 5:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Provo will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Timpanogos surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cottonwood, they are taking a road trip to challenge Tooele at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
