Volleyball Preview: Ocoee Knights vs. West Orange Warriors
Ocoee is 2-7 against West Orange since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. Ocoee will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each contest than the last.
Ocoee took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Orlando Science 3-2.
Ocoee had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 18-25, 26-24, 25-22, 16-14.
Meanwhile, West Orange was able to grind out a solid victory over Lake Buena Vista on Thursday, taking the game 3-1. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Vipers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
