Basketball Game Preview: Tahquitz Titans vs. Elsinore Tigers

The Tahquitz Titans will face off against the Elsinore Tigers at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.

Tahquitz came up short against Temescal Canyon on Wednesday, falling 54-30. The game marked Tahquitz's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Elsinore, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on San Jacinto with a sharp 76-53 victory on Wednesday. With Elsinore ahead 43-22 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Elsinore has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.8 points per game. As for Tahquitz, they dropped their record down to 2-17 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Tahquitz was dealt a bruising 71-37 defeat at the hands of Elsinore in their previous meeting two weeks ago. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Tahquitz was down 47-16.
