Basketball Recap: Bainbridge Bearcats vs. Thomasville Bulldogs
Bainbridge was the 66-37 winner over Thomasville when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Bainbridge Bearcats received a blow on Saturday as they fell 63-49 to the Thomasville Bulldogs.
Antoine Garland Jr. was nothing short of spectacular for Thomasville: he had 18 points along with six assists and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Monte Colvin, who went 9 for 15 en route to 18 points plus six rebounds.
Bainbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Bainbridge will play host again on Tuesday to welcome Thomas County Central, where tip off is scheduled at 7:03 p.m. As for Thomasville, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lowndes at 7:30 p.m. on December 3rd.
