Indiana Christian Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They claimed a resounding 50-14 win over King's Academy. The Whirlwinds are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 35 straight dating back to last season.

Among those leading the charge was Jake Gilbert, who posted 14 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Stevens, who put up ten points.

King's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Indiana Christian Academy has already played their next game, a 79-34 victory against Community Baptist Christian on the 18th. Hopefully King's Academy paid attention to Indiana Christian Academy's contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Indiana Christian Academy at 7:45 p.m. on December 2.
