Soccer Game Preview: Cypress Falls vs. Cypress Ridge

The Cypress Falls Eagles will head out to square off against the Cypress Ridge Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cypress Falls is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They came out on top against Cy-Fair by a score of 3-1 on Friday. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, everything went Cypress Ridge's way against Stratford on Friday as Cypress Ridge made off with a 5-1 victory. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by three goals or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Cypress Ridge and bumps their season record up to 10-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two matches. As for Cypress Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6-3.

Cypress Falls came out on top in a nail-biter against Cypress Ridge in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Will Cypress Falls repeat their success, or does Cypress Ridge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
