Baseball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Washington's offense. They came up short against the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks on Wednesday, falling 7-0. The Demons just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Mid-Prairie, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-12.

Washington didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-4 defeat against Keokuk on the 3rd. Mid-Prairie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
