Crete piles up the points against Ralston

Recap: Crete Cardinals vs. Ralston Rams
The Crete Cardinals gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They breezed by Ralston at home to the tune of 67-17. That's another feather in the cap for Crete, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Marin Rasgorshek was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 17 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia Hohlen, who scored 9 points along with 5 steals.
Crete's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Ralston, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Crete won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bennington. Hopefully Bennington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Thursday. As for Ralston, they will be playing at home against Blair at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
