Softball Recap: A.L. Brown Comes Up Short

A.L. Brown came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-3 to the Mooresville Blue Devils. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wonders have suffered since March 20th.

Marynda Blackwelder made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Myla McNeely, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

A.L. Brown's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for Mooresville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. A.L. Brown is set to challenge their familiar foe South Iredell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mooresville will face off against rival West Cabarrus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
