Softball Game Preview: Fairborn Skyhawks vs. Sidney Yellowjackets

Fairborn is 0-3 against Sidney since May of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Skyhawks will look to defend their home field against the Yellowjackets at 5:00 p.m. Fairborn is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games.

On Wednesday, Fairborn beat Piqua 6-3.

Tippecanoe hit Sidney with a nine-run sixth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Yellowjackets lost 13-1 to the Red Devils. The Yellowjackets have struggled against the Red Devils recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Sidney's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Fairborn, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.
