It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Deming ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Alamogordo Tigers , sneaking past 4-3. Even though the Wildcats got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Angel Mateos was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

The victory got Deming back to even at 7-7. As for Alamogordo, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.
Deming will have plenty of time to enjoy the win as they don't play again for a while. They'll take on Chaparral at 6:30 p.m. on October 7th. As for Alamogordo, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Centennial at 5:00 p.m.
