Guardian Angels Central Catholic has struggled against Wayne recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Wayne's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Drue Davis led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. The game was Davis' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caiden Backer, who scored 13 points.
Guardian Angels Central Catholic now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Wayne, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
Guardian Angels Central Catholic will stay at home for another game and welcome Aquinas at 7:30 p.m. on December 21st. Hopefully Aquinas focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Saturday. As for Wayne, they will head out on the road to face off against West Point-Beemer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
