Soccer Recap: Charlestown Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Charlestown kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Floyd Central Highlanders, falling 10-1. Charlestown were not able to make up for their loss to Floyd Central from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charlestown will square off against Jennings County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Floyd Central, they will challenge Heritage Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
