Volleyball Recap: Davis Sr. Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Davis Sr. was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the St. Francis Troubadours. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Troubadours this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: St. Francis scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-17.

Isabella Garma-Murphy paced Davis Sr.'s offense, picking up eight kills. Garma-Murphy got some help from Juliana Van Boxtel and her 23 assists. Finally, Mia Salvemini kept Davis Sr.'s defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Among those leading the charge was Malia Fat, who had 12 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Davis Sr.'s loss dropped their record down to 13-18. As for St. Francis, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-7.

Davis Sr. has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Turlock on the 28th. As for St. Francis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Buhach Colony on the 28th.
