Football Recap: Timnath Falls Short of Palisade in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Timnath can now relate to. They fell just short of the Palisade Bulldogs by a score of 27-24 on Saturday.

Despite the loss, Timnath still got an impressive performance from Drew Raymond, who threw for 212 yards and three TDs.

Dylon Larson produced another solid effort rushing for 135 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries for Palisade. Larson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 83-yard run. Palisade also got a significant boost from Cade Carter, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 121 yards.

Timnath's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Palisade, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Timnath does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palisade, they will challenge Roosevelt at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Roughriders have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games.
