Softball Recap: Cedar Crest Comes Up Short

Cedar Crest made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Hempfield, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Falcons fell just short of the Black Knights by a score of 5-3 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Black Knights: they've now lost six in a row.

Cedar Crest's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hempfield, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
