Baseball Recap: Calumet Christian Gets the Win

Calumet Christian's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over the South Bend Riley Wildcats. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Calumet Christian got a big performance out of Ryan Jackson, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Kole Klein, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Calumet Christian now has a winning record of 10-9. As for South Bend Riley, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Calumet Christian and South Bend Riley will both be playing Chicago Christian the next time they take the field. The Patriots will head out to face the Knights at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
