Volleyball Recap: West Broward Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Broward was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Cypress Bay Lightning, falling 3-0. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Lightning when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-12.

Among those leading the charge was Julia Diaz, who had 18 digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

West Broward's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Cypress Bay, they pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

West Broward and Cypress Bay should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. The Bobcats will challenge Nova at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (156 vs. 485). Meanwhile, Cypress Bay (ranked 93rd) will meet Sagemont Prep (ranked 333rd) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
