Basketball Recap: Orangeburg Prep Piles Up the Points Against Clarendon Hall

Orangeburg Prep entered their tilt with Clarendon Hall on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They breezed by the Clarendon Hall Saints to the tune of 64-27. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Saints are ranked 310th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Orangeburg Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hunter Judy led the charge by putting up eight points along with 11 boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hart Wiles, who posted five points and six steals.

Orangeburg Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Clarendon Hall, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Thomas Sumter Academy the next time they take the court. Orangeburg Prep will head out to face Thomas Sumter Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Clarendon Hall will host them at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
