Softball Recap: Fayetteville Christian Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Fayetteville Christian never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Village Christian Academy on Wednesday. They blew past the Knights 18-3. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Warriors' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Jordan Winans was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs but no hits. That earned run was her first of the season. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Bailey Johnson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Natalie Ysasaga was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
