Basketball Recap: Providence Christian Has No Trouble Against Houston Academy

Providence Christian's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They took down the Houston Academy Raiders 45-28. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 42-41 loss the last time these two teams met.

Molly Rutland and Elizabeth Liddon certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Rutland posted nine points and five rebounds, while Liddon earned five points and six rebounds. Liddon is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Providence Christian now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Houston Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Providence Christian will be playing at home against Rehobeth at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Houston Academy, they will take on Ashford at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
