Soccer Recap: Roger Bacon Comes Up Short

Roger Bacon lost against Archbishop McNicholas back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans lost 5-2 to the Rockets.

Jean-Marie Kipkosgei and Jonah Vonderwish scored both of Roger Bacon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Roger Bacon's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-2. As for Archbishop McNicholas, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roger Bacon will host Cincinnati Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Archbishop McNicholas, they will be taking part in a tournament against Goshen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
