Basketball Recap: James River Takes a Loss

James River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were beaten by the Glenvar Highlanders 63-35. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 335th, while the Highlanders are ranked 79th).

James River's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Glenvar, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Glenvar beat James River by a score of 63-35 later that day.
