Basketball Game Preview: Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats vs. LaMoille Lions

Having just played yesterday, the Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the LaMoille Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Lowpoint-Washburn is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Polo on Thursday. Lowpoint-Washburn came out on top against Polo by a score of 64-51. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly 13 points.

Meanwhile, LaMoille came into Thursday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 55-49 victory over Calvary Christian Academy on Thursday.

Lowpoint-Washburn has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for LaMoille, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10.

Lowpoint-Washburn was able to grind out a solid victory over LaMoille when the teams last played back in January of 2023, winning 64-52. Will Lowpoint-Washburn repeat their success, or does LaMoille have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
