Columbia waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Calhoun Sandcrabs. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Roughnecks were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Sebastian Olguin, who's now up to three this season.

Columbia has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those six contests. As for Calhoun, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Columbia will be playing at home against La Marque at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Columbia is facing La Marque at the right time seeing as La Marque is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Calhoun has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Sweeny on the 18th.
