Volleyball Recap: Stargate School's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Stargate School entered their tilt with Denver Christian on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Thunder by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Stargate School had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 26-24, 25-21, 25-22.

Elizabeth (Ellie) Romary paced Stargate School's offense, picking up 16 kills. Romary got some help from Reese White and her 32 assists. Romary was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Stargate School's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Denver Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.

Stargate School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against DSST: Montview on the 26th. As for Denver Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Pueblo Central at 10:30 a.m. on the 4th.
