Baseball Recap: High Tech SD Takes Down Coastal Academy in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, High Tech SD rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Coastal Academy Stingrays by a score of 6-3. The win was familiar territory for the Storm, who have now won three matches in a row.

The team relied heavily on Tyson Vaugh, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mikey Ortiz, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.

High Tech SD's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Coastal Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 17-12.

As of now, neither High Tech SD nor the Stingrays have any future games scheduled.
