Football Recap: Rincon/University Rangers vs. Sahuarita Mustangs        
        
		
             A  win for Rincon/University just wasn't in the cards  on Friday as the  team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They took a  blow against the Sahuarita Mustangs, falling  38-6. The Rangers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  38-0.
  Thomas Montgomery threw for 81 yards and a touchdown.  
 Mananne Abakar was his top target, picking up 27 receiving yards and a touchdown.  On the ground, 
 Daniel Barajas rushed for 51 yards.
 Sahuarita found their leader in sophomore  Rasheed Martin, who threw for 122 yards and two touchdowns.
 Rincon/University dropped their record down to 2-6 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  at home. As for Sahuarita, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.
 Rincon/University will head out on the road to  face off against  Douglas  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Douglas knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Rincon/University likes a good challenge. As for Sahuarita, they will host Amphitheater  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Sahuarita is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 30.2  points per game  this season.
