Volleyball Game Preview: Northeastern Clinton Cougars vs. Saranac Lake Red Storm

Northeastern Clinton hasn't had much luck against Saranac Lake recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cougars will face off against the Red Storm at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Northeastern Clinton lost 3-0 to Plattsburgh last Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-10, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Saranac Lake came up short against Plattsburgh on Thursday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Red Storm in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost nine in a row.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-16.

Northeastern Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Saranac Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Northeastern Clinton suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Saranac Lake in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
