Baseball Game Preview: Dillon Christian Warriors vs. Marlboro Academy Dragons

The Dillon Christian Warriors will face off against the Marlboro Academy Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Dillon Christian and King's Academy have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. Dillon Christian took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of King's Academy.

Jackson Outlar was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Marlboro Academy had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of Dillon Christian by a score of 5-3. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Dillon Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Marlboro Academy in their previous meeting on Thursday, sneaking past 5-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dillon Christian since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
