Crete-Monee is a perfect 6-0 against Thornridge since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Crete-Monee has three straight wins, Thornridge has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Crete-Monee is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Danville for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-0 victory. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Vikings are ranked 294th) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Thornridge's offense. They lost 20-0 to Thornton on Friday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.

Crete-Monee now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Thornridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything came up roses for Crete-Monee against Thornridge in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 70-0 win. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
