Baseball Recap: Wood-Ridge Takes a Loss

Wood-Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Midland Park Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 9-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Wood-Ridge's record is now 17-13. As for Midland Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

While Wood-Ridge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
